At the Beach House in 1993  As part of the Desert Peace program, the Al-Yousifi family hosted six Americans who lost sons during the Gulf War. After touring Al-Qurain House, they visited the Tareq Rajab Museum, shopped at an old souk, and dined at the family's beach house. These parents said they learned their sacrifice was appreciated and the visit to Kuwait brought solace. Four fathers (with name badges) posed alongside their hosts. On the right are Nicolas Fajardo and, with a jar of sand, Candelario Montalvo, Sr. (See also Overview pages 35-36 and .)
